Abstract
This paper presents logistics, planning, practical reflections and lessons learned from a large South Carolina school district's efforts to implement a Personalized Digital Learning (PDL) Initiative. This PDL process was designed and implemented to promote the achievement of Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and to go beyond traditional 1:1 computing environments in schools. Reflections for teachers, school leaders and technology specialists implementing new technologies are presented.
