Abstract
An educator preparation program shares the story of their shift from the NCATE accreditation process to the CAEP accreditation process, specifically their journey in the preparation of their self-study report. The paper outlines the concrete steps taken to navigate a confusing and changing landscape, while still keeping both the unit's goals and the goals of CAEP at the forefront. Failures and successes are shared, as well as the approach taken and the tools used to manage the processes of data-driven change, assessment, and documentation.
