Abstract

Whether you ask parents, teachers or students, opinions vary between and among these groups... So, how should we handle homework in our classrooms? How do teachers design homework processes and procedures to support homework completion? Should we assign homework at all? If so, how often and how much? This article takes a look at these questions and strives to provide teachers with information to help them with make these decisions. To do this, the article takes a look at survey results from the field and ends with some questions to consider when it comes to implementation of homework practices.
