Abstract

The purpose of this article is to provide a synopsis of the evaluation and revision process of a senior capstone project, the Teacher Work Sample (TWS). One university developed a task force to develop and implement goals to revise this capstone project. The revision process forced the task force members to examine institutional data from multiple program assessments. This process can serve as a model for other institutions as they seek to improve assessment rigor.
