Abstract
This article explores the evolution of a first-time collaboration between a general education teacher and a special education teacher as they developed a collaboration for five included students in a fifth grade classroom. It describes their growing understanding of what collaboration is, how it works, and how it can be implemented to improve all students' academic success.
