Abstract
School-university partnerships have become important in the reform efforts to develop the next generation of school leaders. Researchers have encouraged collaborative partnerships between all stakeholders involved in principal preparation. However, partners rarely have a blueprint or roadmap to guide their efforts. Designing a partnership can be labor-intensive. This paper reports on the process and successes of one school district and a university as they developed a collaborative partnership to prepare future and practicing leaders.
