Abstract

The COVID 19 pandemic as a global crisis brought an extraordinary challenge to all walks of life, including teaching and learning. A particular challenge was the sudden shift from face-to-face instruction to teaching online (Hodges et al., 2020; Houlden & Veletsianos, 2020; Rapanta et al., 2020). This paper discusses key findings from a qualitative survey study. The purpose was to determine the best pedagogies for online learning that we have ascertained from the unprecedented process of swiftly changing from face-to-face learning to online in educator preparation programs. Some best practices are discussed considering the findings.
