Abstract
The purpose of this article is to address best practices for building home-school partnerships following the onset of the COVID—19 pandemic. The authors also discuss what teachers and schools can do to build trust and maintain strong communication with families during the COVID—19 pandemic and during virtual schooling. The authors draw upon their experiences as both educators and siblings of people with disabilities to share research-based strategies that can help teachers effectively partner with the families of their students.
