Abstract
This article examines preservice teachers' attitudes toward linguistically and culturally diverse students. Students completed a 17-item 5-point Likert type scale questionnaire ranging from 1= strongly agree to 5= strongly disagree to measure attitudes toward linguistically diverse students. A quantitative research methodology was used to collect and analyze the data focusing on descriptive statistics for this purpose. Results indicate that preservice teachers had positive attitudes toward accepting linguistically diverse students into society and schools.
