Abstract
This study examined teacher candidates' perceptions of face-to-face and distance supervision. Teacher candidates enrolled in a multicategorical special education preparation program participated in both face-to-face and distance supervision of their teaching at their field experience. Teacher candidates preferred the face-to-face supervision. Challenges to distance supervision and suggestions for overcoming these will be discussed in this paper.
