Engaging Pedagogy

Abstract

Course evaluations are designed to capture student perspectives of instructor quality and course goals and objectives and are traditionally administered at the conclusion of a course. Of interest to online course development/revision, embedded evaluations provide student feedback of courses in progress when activities and assignments are fresh in students' minds. This workshop briefly provides the background and initial findings of the embedded evaluation project but will focus on the creation of embedded evaluation questions and lead attendees in writing their own embedded evaluation questions. Attendees are encouraged to bring or have access to their own syllabi/assignment directions to the workshop.
