Abstract

This presentation will discuss teaching and talking through persuasive writing topics, in more than uncertain times, by using student-guided discussion and practices. This includes discussion of educational technology used to allow students opportunities to share ideas anonymously in real-time and engage in discussion of topics, including narrowing the scope of topics and identifying reasoning to support their stances, through free, online-programs that are easily accessible for both the faculty member and the students and work well in virtual, hybrid, and traditional courses.
