Unlocated and undated recordings of spirituals from Saint Helena Island, circa 1955-1956. Spirituals include "My mother called me I cannot answer," "On the bright, shining morning," "Sleeping on the matter," "My mind's unchanged," "I saw the light from heaven come down," "This old house is going to fall," "Who do you know over there," "Can't hide sinner," "Lord, I'm Going Home," "Father remove," "Sing Hallelujah, amen," "I believe I'll go back home," "I walk by night," a prayer, "Tell Him what you want," and a sermon on the tale of ten virgins.
