Offering undergraduate degree programs in 18 areas of study ranging from biochemistry to sociology, as well as 25 minors and 3 certificate programs, the Gupta College of Science and Engineering has 3 graduate programs as well. It offered the first Coastal Ph.D. program, the Ph.D. in Marine Science: Coastal and Marine Systems Science. In 2019, the college was named the Gupta College of Science for Sunny Gupta, a 1992 Coastal alumnus. [March 2020] The college name was changed to the Gupta College of Science and Engineering in September 2026.
