Abstract
The innovative learning activity that was offered to the Junior I nursing students allowed them to explore one of the Basic Care and Comfort needs of nursing (e.g. nutrition & oral hydration, assistive devices, elimination, palliative care & comfort, CAT/CAM, non-pharmacological comfort interventions, mobility & immobility, personal hygiene & post-mortem care, rest & sleep). Basic Care and Comfort measures allow nurses to provide basic comfort and assistance to patients with the tasks of daily living. Each group created a virtual poster presentation and made a 5-minute skit/education video aimed to provide patient education on their selected topic.
