Abstract/Description
The purpose of this project is to investigate what information and resources are crucial for new start-up businesses to succeed in their first year of operation in Horry County, SC. The final focus of this research is to determine if the information needed by small businesses to succeed in Horry County include tapping into local government and local friendships or also called informal networks. The topic of special relationships in the Horry County area has not yet been researched or shown for that matter.
