Abstract/Description
The wireless telecommunications industry has experienced tremendous growth over the past 15 years. With this growth, there has been increased cooperative activity among firms within the wireless telecommunications industry. This study suggests that firms are more likely to cooperate, whether through mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, or alliances, when they share technological complementarity. Twenty-five wireless service providers were studied.
