The recording includes three sessions at the Progressive Club: the first of children play singing ("If You're Happy and You Know It" and "Are you Sleeping, Brother John"), the second an interview of an unidentified woman who supervises the Head Start program, and the third of an unidentified Johns Island female resident about the issues facing Johns Island. The first interview covers the purpose of Henrietta Yurchenco bringing her students down, as well as the economic status of the children in the Head Start program. The interview also includes commentary on the Hunter Family, who has been featured in many of the recordings of the session. The second interview includes the voting registration discussion, public utility access, and the role of Esau Jenkins in leading the social issues of the island.

The first session is from the from the April 7, 1970, session of the Hunter Children for the song "Tic Tac." The second session is presumed to be an excerpt of a Wednesday night Easter Revival service at Wesley United Methodist Church of the Johns Island Charge. The session includes "Amazing Grace." The third session is a recording of an unknown instrumental service at an unidentified church on Johns Island. It contains five instrumental spiritual performances from a wind and percussion orchestra.
