Description
Sci-Art truly opens up a whole new realm of artistic creativity, fusing two seemingly unrelated topics into an accessible way to communicate hard data. Use our SciArt Manifesto to understand and develop your own perception of the union between science and art. Let it serve as a starting point in putting pen to paper or acrylic to canvas, keeping in mind the importance of the information you set out to communicate. These projects were initially completed as part of Honors 307: Sci-Art, a 2021 Maymester course within the HTC Honors College at Coastal Carolina University, taught by Dr. Sara Rich. The SciArt Manifesto was created as part of the Honors 302: Special Topics in Cultural Studies course taught by Dr. Rich during 2021 Maymester. This is an ongoing project, with additional contributions to be added by subsequent course participants.
