Description
The New Prince Washington school bus pontoon boat. the new school bus boat docked at Sandy Island. The enclosed boat is the only boat used as a school bus in South Carolina. It ferries students across the Waccamaw River from Sandy Island. The boat features a handicap ramp, shown in this picture. This boat replaced the aging Prince Washington in 2015. Also in this picture is a small private boat with the river shoreline in the background. Local flora is also present.
