The hospitality and leisure management has evolved in the past decade due to rapid technological developments. Technology plays a major role in enhancing the user experience design and can be incorporated in luxury hotels to create a unique experience for guests. The research specifically addressed the use of 360-degree video technology for brand storytelling to enhance the guest experience in luxury hotels. 360-degree videos allow a viewer to view media content from multiple perspectives since it is designed to focus on a 360-degree angle. The technology can be used on multiple smart devices such as phones, TVs, computers, and smartphones, creating numerous opportunities for luxury hotels to display their innovativeness and engage with guests at a deeper level. Based on the research, the 360-degree video offers an immersive experience for guests, which helps them connect to the hotel environment on an emotional and psychological level. The immersive technology creates deep engagement and interaction with guest viewers and helps to enhance their moods and perception of the hotel. High-end consumers are highly sensitive about the interior design aspects of the hotels they visit, making it imperative for luxury hotel managers to invest in up to date, engaging technology that allows guests to create a meaningful experience with their environment. The use of up to date and innovative technology such as the 360-degree video makes it possible for guests to reach their highpoint of the Maslow pyramid by creating an engaging, inviting, entertaining and memorable environment for guests in luxury hotels.
