Description

The landscape and environment of Sandy Island. Taken from the viewpoint of Sandy Island, it shows the expansive width of the Waccamaw River with the mainland on the other side. In the foreground is a small dock with one private boat present. There are ladders on the dock that go down into the water. It appears that this picture was taken in the evening time, as the sky is slightly pink and purple at the horizon. The sky and tree line of the mainland is reflected on the water.
