Description

A framed picture of the 2001 Sandy Island Volunteer Firemen hung on a beige shiplap wall. “Sandy Island Volunteer Fireman” is taped to the glass of the frame, with “2001” written beside the text. Eleven firefighters are shown in the picture, all wearing yellow firefighting gear with reflective lining. Each man has their helmet on. There are three rows of men in the photo. The reflective lining is bright, obscuring some details of the firefighters, as well as the background of the image. There is one fire truck behind the men, which seems to be of an older make and model.
